What I Did
Why did I buy powdered milk..let me see.. the protein content was higher the fat was lower, it was shelf stable so I could buy 10 boxes of it and have it for multiple weeks/months. Living in the North,[I did not always have a car-or one that was reliable- what i DID have was a husband who didn't give a sh*t..of course..] I made sure to stock up my pantry by the end of October. No matter what kind of money things happened or weather things happened, I was prepared. My kids would always have milk we would always have dairy to cook with. 🙂 Ground turkey instead of beef? Why was that? Again high protein+ lower fat=healthy kids.😊 But mom, why did you brush our teeth at night instead of letting us do it ourselves?
